At Kurwongbah State School, we encourage the use of technology to support the teaching and learning activities within the curriculum. Each classroom has a data projector and there is an interactive white board (IWB) in every double classroom. There are three information technology (IT) classrooms that can be used by classes of up to 30 students as well as three computers per classroom.
Through the generous support of our Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) we also have "Digital on the go" kits within classes. These kits provide teachers with IT tools at their fingertips to assist in the implementation of curriculum tasks within the classroom.
Mobile devices are also in use within classes, along with robotics and digital cameras.
